Launch of new cars are becoming very frequent nowadays. There is a launch of new car models everyday and this year there has been numerous car launches in the Indian car market. The global car manufacturers strongly feel that India is the prospective market to succeed.
Like other car manufacturers, even Volkswagen is all set to launch its most admired Caddy in the country. This car is mainly going to be used for low-cost taxi for urban use. The reason being that there is a rapid grow in tourism industry in India and many of them would want to travel by taxis rather than self-driving.
However, these commuters sense that the cost of fuel uses for traveling to a preferred destination is almost the same to the fare of taxis. Also the taxis are becoming popular in India and even many car manufacturers are giving their best products that many of the Indians are looking for. The Caddy is proclaimed be priced somewhere around Rs 8-9 lakhs.

Small cars are gaining huge popularity in Indian market. The car manufacturers have understood this and are now rolling out more small cars in the country. Even Volkswagen is all set to launch its small car in India soon.
The small car would come packed with local flavour as the German car manufacturer plans a high degree of indigenization for its volume car. So this would be the first ever car that would enter the compact car segment.
The small car will enter the Indian market around 2010 and the same will be manufactured at Volkswagen upcoming manufacturing plant at Chakan in Maharashtra. The company feels that high level of local content will not only lessen the production cost of the car, but will also help preserving costs with the spare parts.
The company is planning to invest around Rs 3600 crore in setting up the manufacturing facility at Chakan. The production in this unit will start from 2009 end. Also the manufacturing plant will be used partially for the production of Skoda’s hatchback Fabia.
Many car manufacturers are realizing what the buyers are looking for and are going according to their choice.

One of the popular car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki is now set to rollout an array of thriving cars in the Indian market. With everything set intact the only one thing the car manufacturer is in short is the D segment in line with the most recent sedans like Volkswagen Jetta, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla and Skoda Octavia.
Maruti is working on a car based on the Kizashi concept and this car is said to enter the Maruti’s D segment. The car will be priced around Rs. 10 lakh. The car will have some attractive features like LED lights, well shaped black glossy grille, and hard core bumper.
Currently the Kizashi based car is at the growing stage and the car is soon going to hit the Indian roads. The manufacture of this vicious looking car is projected to be rolled out from Maruti’s new plant in Manesar, Haryana.
The company has expanded its footpath apart from launching small cars. The high gear cars like Maruti Suzuki Swift and Maruti Suzuki SX4 have done wonders in the car market. So everyone are eagerly waiting for the launch of this exciting car from Maruti.

Toyota is geared up to roll out its new Corolla with perfectly refined and advance features. This exclusive car has acquired a lot of popularity for its standard price, huge size and spacious interior.
Now this sizzling new Corolla is coming in September with a much better look this time when compared to the present model.
After the launch of the Honda Civic there has been a tough competition for Corolla. So with this new launch of Corolla it might again increase the sales.
This new car is going to rock the Indian buyers with its spiky new designs which is an extension of the Toyota’s product entity across its line up and will add even more elegance to this new Corolla.

Many car manufacturers are entering the small car market segment. The companies with big names like Maruti-Suzuki, Honda, Volkswagen, Fiat, Ford and Toyota which are anticipated to hit the car market restoring the record for as much as 75% of car sales by 2010.
In order to help the buyers the car manufacturers are offering bulky discounts to ease their existing stocks and for the easy entry of new cars in India.
The forthcoming new cars would have variants loaded with most advanced features like ABS, automatic drive, and airbags. These elite cars come in the range of Rs 3 lakh – Rs 5 lakh (excluding the Rs 1 lakh marvel Tata Nano).
So to avail the benefits of the subsidized excise duty for small cars, the car models under-4m would sport engines below 1200cc in petrol and below 1500cc in diesel.
There is going to be a sizzling competition between the car manufacturers in the small-car sector. Whereas Maruti-Suzuki is set to roll out Splash and A Star by year-end and Hyundai is set to introduce i20 at the same time. Even Fiat Grande Punto is expected before the end of the year and Tata Motors is also ready to hit the Indian market with its new version of its Indica, which has been one of the popular cars in the market.
