Posted by Carazoo on August 4, 2009

The Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra and the French carmaker Renault is in a joint venture and they work for a single model, Logan. This pet project of theirs is now not showing them any signs of development and the sale of the car is now showing any improvement which is a serious issue that makes Mahindra and Renault think about alternative means for sustaining in the car market.

The company is not in a comfortable position, where the model that uses to get sold in thousands is just touching hundreds. The sales of this joint venture are depended on this single model and any small fall in sales will affect the future of the brand. Among the many plans that the company has to rescue itself from this critical situation is to re-launch the Logan with a new look and together that make ready the car for the new emission norms.

Both the partners will have to contribute for this new project but it is still not clear how much amount they have to invest for this cause.
