Americans Choose More Indian and Chinese Cars

Posted by Carazoo on August 5, 2009

More than the Korean and Japanese cars, it is now the Indian and Chinese cars that are interesting for the American car buyers. A survey conducted by an American agency recently exposed this interest for Americans for the Asian Brands, especially Chinese and India.

It is true that the American car market is not as strong as it was before but the country is slowly recovering from the poor economical conditions and as a reason this could be seen as an apt time to form a strong stand in the country’s car market. And the Indian and Chinese carmakers will have to wait for some time before they find themselves in a relaxed position in the American car market.

Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra will be the two main car brands that will be representing India in America while the Chinese car market has so many car models to its credit. Now is the time for both the Chinese and the Indian carmakers to make a global impression. As America being the world’s largest car market in the world, both the car markets will get acceptance worldwide if accepted in America

Posted by Carazoo on April 14, 2008

Demand for car sales in India and their raising graph in their sales chart clearly indicates the growth of Indian car industry. I was proud to know that Indian car industry ranked 10th in the world with respect to domestic car sales in the year 2007.

It was for the first time ever last year; the global car sales crossed the 70 million mark, where U.S topped the list with sales of 16.46 million cars. The second position was taken by China with 8.792 million car sales, followed by Japan (5.354 million), Germany (3.483 million), the UK (2.8 million) and Italy (2.741 million).

India was one among the 3 emerging markets that raised one notch from the 2006 rankings with the total domestic sales of 1.99 million cars for year 2007. India is one of the major bases for manufacturing small passenger cars and flaunts in the automotive industry of being the 3rd largest manufacturer of small cars.

Super Nano

Posted by Carazoo on March 17, 2008

Dilip Chaabria, the style guru of Indian cars does spare any cars with out adding his creativity to it. He has created wonders with his creative ideas, for instance, DC’s Ambierod at the Auto Expo turned old and boring Ambassador into a total wannabe. The revamped Amby proved that with little creativity and hard work any thing can look so posh and cool.

And his next target was yet to be launched TataNano’. It is already a funky, small looking and he customized in such a way that more or less it looks like a spaceship.  Let me brief you on his creativity with Nano.

To start with, he groomed everything starting from gull wing doors, xenon and LED light panel, wider wheels and equipped with the fastest bike power engine of 1400cc called Hayabusa – power monster that will turn this cutie into a roller-coaster. Hayabusa is world’s fastest bike and you can imagine the power of Nano with this engine. The interiors were also loaded with next generation gadgets like a PC screen featuring internet, navigation, games and last but not least the customized instrumental panel glimmered to the screen.

I wonder will it be ever be on the road. But if it makes it will be the coolest car in town.
