Its time to enjoy the price cut by Tata and Ford!

In line with all the car manufacturers including Maruti, Hyundai, and Honda, Tata Motors and Ford have also announced price cut across their range of car models in the Indian car market.

The decision to cut down the car prices is credited to the reduction in the excise duty rates announced by the government. Excitingly, Tata has reduced the prices of Indigo and Indica in the range of Rs 12,000 and Rs 23,000, depending on the variants. And the prices of Tata Safari and Tata Sumo are reduced in the range of Rs 17,000 and Rs 23,000.

After almost all the car manufacturers slashing down car prices, even Ford followed the trend and announced a 3% reduction in the car prices. All the Ford cars including the Fusion, Fiesta, and Endeavour will be now cheaper with the car prices lowered in the range of Rs 17,500 to Rs 54,000.

Tata and Ford Reduced Car Prices

With the government reducing excise duty rates, Indian car manufacturers have reduced car prices to pass the complete benefit to car consumers.

Maruti Suzuki was the first car manufacturer to cut down the car prices of all its car models with immediate effect. And others were still in process of evaluating the possibilities of reduction and studying the impact of lower excise duty on car market.

Now, even Tata Motors and Ford have reduced their car prices. You can now buy different variants of Tata Indigo and Tata Indica at a price cheaper in the range of Rs 12,000 and Rs 23,000. Tata Safari and Tata Sumo will be cheaper by a price cut in the range of Rs 16,000 to Rs 36,000.

Talking about the Ford, the company announces a 3% reduction in its entire range of car models available in the Indian car market. The prices of Fusion, Fiesta, and Endeavour will be lowered in the range of Rs 17,500 to Rs 54,000 depending on variants and models.

Reduction in excise duty has given both the car manufacturers and car consumers an opportunity to rejoice.

Ford Cars Now With GPS Navigation

In the recent years, GPS is becoming trendy in cars. Many of the luxury cars have this feature as a standard one. Now India’s major car player Ford India is also set to include GPS navigation device to its popular SUV, Ford Endeavour.

The company has proclaimed that MapmyIndia is its partner to sell the navigator device.MapmyIndia is India’s leading manufacturer in premium-quality digital maps and consumer navigation services.

The navigation device will be offered as a brand new accessory feature which is currently available at all the authorized Ford dealerships in India. However the navigation system can also be integrated on all other Ford vehicles like Ford Ikon, Fusion, Fiesta and the Endeavour.

The navigator provides exceptional and ultimate coverage of 174 cities, which is up from previous 18 cities. MapmyIndia wants to broaden its services across India and persists to pioneer more Indian consumers to the benefits of GPS navigation.

Ford Expands Road Assistance

Ford India is making its presence more powerful in India. The car manufacturer wants to provide its customers a hassle-free driving experience in and around the city. So the company has proclaimed to launch the Roadside Assistance Service (RSA) in four more cities in India. They are Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and Jaipur.

Previously the car manufacturer had introduced these services in nine major cities including metros. Now with the addition of four more cities, the total number of cities having such facilities has increased to 13.

This service programme comprises of Ford fleet of two types of vehicles including flat bed trucks and emergency response motorcycles. The flat bed truck allows customers to get vehicle carried to the service centre and get them repaired without the damages generally experienced during the towing of cars.

Ford believes that customer’s satisfaction is the most important step for success. Therefore, with the introduction of this service in four more cities the company will cover 60 % of Ford car owners in the country.
