Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced a new variant of its popular SUV Scorpio in the Indian car market. Named as Mighty Muscular Scorpio, the new car features technologically advanced mHawk engine and the revolutionary micro-hybrid technology. Both these technologies together help to achieve high fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.

The Mighty Muscular Scorpio is aggressively designed with bold stances and toned structure that is further complemented by a host of exterior adornments. Some of the key features highlighting the exterior beauty are signature front grille, easy-to-grip door handles, wraparound headlamps, bonnet scoop, rear integrated footsteps, and powered ORVMs. The signature front grille is accentuated by a glint of silver in the middle and this makes the front fascia more imposing.

The interior of the new car is aggressive yet warm. Features like rich fabric upholstery, ergonomically designed foam fitted seats, 2-DIN car audio system, racing-inspired gear knob, and steering wheel mounted controls. Draped in dual tone colour themes and rich fabric the plush interior looks even more appealing.

Under the hood, the New Scorpio is equipped with a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, mHawk diesel engine that generates 120 bhp and propels the car from 0 to 60 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The engine also confronts to strict emission norms making the New Scorpio India’s first car compliant to BS IV.

The new Mighty Muscular Scorpio is available in five variants with a starting price of Rs 7.2 Lakh (Ex-Showroom-New Delhi).
