Santro Back in Full Swing

Posted by Carazoo on January 30, 2009

New Hyundai Santro Cars in IndiaHyundai Santro, one of the most popular hatchbacks, was on ‘mute mode’ since the launch of the next generation Hyundai i10. The i10 impressed car buyers with its more dynamic styling and zippier performance thus taking away all the attention from the flagship model Santro.

The i10 received a good sales figure and also bagged the title ‘Best car of the year 2008′. Santro is now slowly bouncing back to its earlier fame. The all-time favourite Santro’s sales were higher than expected by the company. Hyundai’s efforts to level out the sales of i10 and Santro have been successful.

To much surprise, even when new variants of the Hyundai i10 were launched with next generation Kappa engines, Santro’s sales did not dip and remained steady. The ‘Sunshine Car’ car has won itself a lot of admiration and consideration after the launch of its CNG and LPG variants. The secondary car fuels gained popularity with the people after the prices of petrol and diesel had shot up in the previous months.
