BMW India introduces its variants

Accompanying so many crisis happening in the Indian car market it has become very hard for the auto makers to sell there cars in the market. These car manufacturers are just trying to sell by offering good discounts in order to promote their sales. In such a scenario BMW, well known for its incredible luxury car’s has taken a daring step and has launched its new variants for its 5 series sedan in the Indian market.

The variants of these 5 series sedan are BMW 520d, 530d and 530d Highline are powered by diesel engines will be additions to its existing petro variants BMW 525i and BMW 530i. However these cars are offered in the price range of Rs 36.9 lakh and Rs 46.8 lakh.

Basically BMW is craving to increase its charisma in the Indian car industry and that has been one of its motives to launch these exclusive variants. However these variants are emphasized to be offered with the superior comfort, lavishing luxury, premier quality, safety, and performance.


BMW had started assembling cars in India last year and had sold about 1,400 units and is aiming to sell 2,000 units this year. It has also increased production capacity of its Chennai plant with an additional investment of Rs 3 crore.
